Default Ambit 200 troubles!

Hi there,
Firstly, hello (im new to the forum).
Ok so I have two Ambit 200 modems, both with the 10 pin headers installed.

I tried flashing both with sigma firmware over Max232, and it went ok, but when they start up i get this error "WARNING - No DOCSIS Control thread provided. Docsis state machine can't run!". Also, the normal web page (192.168.100.1) or the Sigma page (192.168.100.1:1337) doesnt work.

So I assume they're f**ked. I tired unbricking them with a blackcat cable, but everytime I connect it it says "Error: Blackcat cable not connected". Ive tired swapping the cable around, changing the parrellel port settings but nothing working.
If I cant re-flash them with Max232, and the blackcat wont work, then I dunno what to do!

Any help would be great,
Thank you,
Jack
