Missing channels ... manual add frequencies help

I am in the Manchester area and seem to have a few channels like Sly sports 1 and Sky Premier missing. I have tried power scans, full scans, etc and through reading these forums the manual frequency add however in the new software it is not the same as the old one. I have 35 channels in the channel list and am able to edit the frequency but not add one in. I have the April 18th firmware. I wanted Sly sports 1 for the match tonight and now have it by changing 738.00 mhz to 746.00 mhz, so now whatever was on 738 I no longer have. On bigmaq there is a firmware with the 8% signal fix, has anybody been able to add more channels using this? I think it is just 2 frequencies that I cannot pick up on a scan.

if its only a couple of channels the 8% fix wont work.
download a cdf file for manchester areas that should work.
