Just read this on Bigmaq chat room

"AVOID ALL NEW FORUMS THAT HAVE BEEN CREATED WITHIN LAST 2 MONTHS LIKE: ......... THEY ARE PLANTED BY VIRGINMEDIA .... ANYONE SIGNING UP THERE WILL BE REGISTERED WITH VM ... AND THEN YOU CAN EXPECT A KNOCK ON THE DOOR .......... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!"

Any thoughts on this sort of activity or is it just to scare folk??

Why should that scare you? If you don't want to join a forum then simply don't.

As far as I can see that forum even offers a toolbar that provides keys and software similar to TheChatterBox.cc and I couldn't see VM offering this.

You would expect to see new forums opening up all the time.

Yeah I agree with lucky forums come and go hell even forums get closed and need to reopen so im not scared I get all the info I need here anyways

Never found a forum to avoid yet - forums are created to help people to help themselves and to help others.

Any name and shame of forums would most likely end up with ppl badmouthing forums that they were banned from for legitimate reasons, but you would have no way of knowing. Have seen some real doozies removed from this forum.

i thought it was not illegal to own or watch fta channels on a dbox.....
