Default sv3 goosed????

right then people , i can get all channels and view them , well sort of ? evey channel freezes , lose sound and really pees me off lol!!!! replaced all conections still the same....original virgin box works ok....i live in washington area tyne and wear....have scanned tw and n£l and get channels off both.....i belived i bought sv3 but it has the box super (dont know if they are the same) running latest software 7.05...knocked it back to 6.01(after factory reset) and couldnt get any channels at all not even fv. emu and everything switched on

any help appreciated

Are you scanning directly from the incoming feed?

i had it coming straight from the wall to the sv3....now i have a splitter from the wall to original virgin and to sv3..same happens either way i have it?

Could be a case of too high/low signal, have you thought of using a variable attenuator which has slope control, so you can manually attenuate the signal?

Basically allows you to adjust your signal strength until you attain the correct balance, have a look here http://www.beststuff.co.uk/coaxial_accessories.htm I am sure Lincsat also has some for sale.
