resetting or finding pin

Is it possible to change the pin number on sammy boxes or find out what the pin number is?

yes there are 2 options 1234 is there default pin, now the pin has only changes for 2 reasons
1. you had talkback enabled
2.you have forgot it

what area you in for the easiest option to reset it

I am in an ex cw area of cheshire. The pin is none of the usual ones and talkback has been cut I did it myself.

as for resetting your pin you will have to reset your stb by shorting the battery, then using the funcard or jtag method reset the stb

or you can also if you need use the asci command in ocd when jtagged this will tell you the pin value

cheers m8 will have to try the funcard method as I don't have a jtag. Isn't there a way of doing through the rs232 port?

Oops stupid me its not a Samsung at all its a pace lol. Its a pace Di4000. My son has the samsung daughter has the pace. Will start again with the same question then lol.

you can by pass the pin by pressing settings going to favourites tick the channel you want the remove the tick then press tv then go to the channel the password prompt should have gone then you can watch the channel, you have to do this everyday mind
