I have a samsung 2110 that seems to be stuck in an update loop.

I've tried a master reset but the box still tries to take the update.

I cant get into the engineers menu as the update begins rolling before loading the menu.

does anyone know how i can get round this?

Try taking the feed off the box and try getting into the engineers menu.
The network ID may be different from the area your in.

Same problem here mate since yesterday i did the above took feed out changed net id feed back in all was working hour later started again repeated again then it did again only since new softwear yesterday not sure wat to do.

have you tried reconnecting tb let it take the update then disconnect again

the net id fun method use to take the pace stbs out of a loop try it on the 2110 and see if it works that way

Could u explain this method please Spike, is it different to a normal net id, pin change using a fun card.

the biggest problem ive got is i cant get into the engineers menu.

Just to let everyone know i've managed to get the box out of loop.

I swapped the Atmel chip with one from a good box from my area, the box booted up and took the update ok. I've done a fun net id change, and the box works ok.

I put the Atmel from the bad box onto the good, and this box is working ok too.
