Hi,

Taking the keyboard out and trying to dry it off would be a good idea I think. Otherwise you may need to get a new keyboard if it is bu99erred.

You could also get a USB keyboard, unfortunately it kind of defeats the object of having a laptop.

If you are careful, it is usually possible to take the keys off if needed as well.

hi thnx for reply,i have had the keyboard out,it is a sealed keyboard with a sheet of plastic underneath sort of......it wasnt a lot of wine ,however i was thinking of sinking the keyboard in water to wash and then leave aweek to dry plus blowing with compressed air, just before ordering a new keyboard is it worth a try thnx micky

yes seen that thnx, just dont want to buy keyboard if it is somthing else ie: motherboard etc....would i get the beeping at booting up if it was just a keyboard problem ?,or does that mean something more sinister
if just keyboard i would buy another dont want to waste money..like i said it was just a bit and everything else seems fine apart from the beeping..micky
