if its what i think you mean where someone talks over the program
on my eurovox you have to press language button and select English and that stops it
i know this remote doesn't have that , Ive just looked and what looks like it could be is the button to the left of the epg button on the remote the one with the picture and a question mark press that and select Eng and see if that works

ive just checked the bbc audio desc channel and you can turn it off on the audio desc channels by the method i mentioned above , you have the option "nar" or "eng" select eng and hopefully that should sort you out and that it works work on the others for you too

Thanks for the update guys, it works.

Shame about the crappy EPG scroll and channel change, also the numbering is all to hell, cant get channel 1 any more.

Im still struggling to find the channel editor to see if that can help me sort out channel numbering.

you upload it from the pvr loader that came with the new firmware

tick channel data file at the bottom and then it will give you the option to upload the bin file from your box
but you need to make sure you put the box in the down load mode first as if you was going to flash it

I did that, but file cant be opened in the editor, says its invalid.

Oh well, I am gonna remove the new fix and put the old flash back in, put keys in manually, this update is useless in the new bugged version, the EPG is simply useless, such a shame they updated the buggy version.

Personally I have been very pleased with the PVR untill now, this box could be revived if we had a software guru look into it.

Thanks

just found this howie

the guy that programs the svce is talking about the fact the new firware for pvr is not working with the svce

"I have a newer version that can read them, as well as support other SV types without the need for a converter, but it's too buggy for release. If & when I get time I might take a look at tidying it up ready for release. I may instead incorporate it into the newer SV4CE but it all depends on demand & available time. "

so we might get one ,or it may just be made for the new box
we`ll just have to wait and see
like i said ill keep you informed if i hear owt else
