I have not used my Fortec Passion Star recently as I couldn't get BBC streamed services which I can on my old box. I was going to have a go at
upgrading software for ITV1 HD but on switching on are getting
ILLEGAL in the station name and receiving no signal at all the box is about 10 months old and I've had little problems apart from losing channels, I've saved these on USB but never loaded them back. Has anyone else had this ILLEGAL sign? I've email FS but not heard anything. Hope someone can help. All the best

I suggest you read other threads(mine included).Fortec support is crap.You are in a better place for help.

I have had the 'ILLEGAL' message on my Passion HD, so all i did was unplug it from the mains for 30mins or so, plugged back in and it was working fine. Never happened again, or as of yet anyway...

Since updating when I switch to radio mine goes straight to the audio feed for ITV HD.There seems to be all sorts of problems occuring recently most involving HD transmissions.
