Default 500c image to satellite

can some 1 advice me...i have a dreambox 500c this is cable it it possible t put a new image on it to work with satilite thxs

No, the tuner is different.

Don't know if you can swap them in those models.

You can only swap them if your handy with a soldering iron

If you want a receiver you can swap and choose tuners you will need either the DM600 or DM7025

Once the tuner is changed its just a case of flashing the appropriate image to the receiver

The original Dm500 is no longer available so it is unlikely you could buy the tuner seperatley but since you can buy a clone for £70 - £80 it is proably not worth buying the tuner seperately.

You can buy them direct from DMM in Germany. Just email them and they will give you a price
