dbox2 laky pro - ide recording help

hi all,

I have a nokia dbox2 with an 80gb ide hdisk. I can't seem to get the recording to work with laky pro image.

When I try to record something it reports an error - the disk is not writeable.

When i telnet into the box the hdd directory is 755 permissions. When I try to chmod 777 it tells me there's not enough space?

Also noticed that laky pro doesn't have a IDE HDD menu. Has anyone else used laky pro image with an IDE HDD?

At the moment I've re-flashed my old commando image back and i can record straight to the hdd folder (755). One thing i did notice was under the commando image a) there is an IDE HDD menu under Misc and b) there is a movie folder within the hdd folder.

I'd like what I've seen of Laky pro so would like to get my ide hdd working properly with it.

any help much appreciated.

I don't use the IDE but can record to a mounted drive, I imagine the options are the same.

In the mount volume settings - mount options - change ro,soft,udp to rw, soft, udp.

That changes Read Only to Read Write on the permissions

Okay - will reflash laky-pro back on and then try and mount the drive and try those settings.
