5101 no ethernet connection

Hi all, i have been trying to do a 5101 and its been a headache! Flashed with orig firmware etc and now have no ethernet connection. Can anyone help?

same problem here mate flashes ok but will connect to ethernet or usb

Its driving me nuts...ive flashed it countless times with hacked and original firmware and it just wont play ball!!

have u set ur network card back to auto?

Yes...just did a 5100 for a mate with no probs, but this 5100 still wont have it

i dont no this modem to well, but are you protecting it before you go on the internet, on the 250s you must not put in cable feed till it is fully protected, or it will update

try unistalling the network card and putting it back again.i saw this at some place

if you're getting limited or no connectiviity, it most likely a bad flash... are they any lights working on the modem when booting up and do they stay on or do they go off immediately???

not getting as far as connecting coax. Flashed with 250 hack.bin (write all), then 5101 fersca mod (write) then flashed boot loader thats included in the 5101 fw download. This didnt work so flashed with 5101e original files which included Full 8mb dump, 2mb flash, ecram-sto 800kb and bootloader 32kb, modem goes back to normal operation but but i get no link between ethernet and pc. settings are auto and have disabled/enabled network card. Have flashed both hacked and mod firmware numerous times. Im sure its something to do with the flash but cant work it out.PLEASE help im going nuts after about 10+ flashes at 40 mins each!!!!

well i, only using SB5101 Mod 10.2 by FERCSA havent tryed anything else
