Whoops, I turned my modem off, now dont work. Help!!!!

Ive been a silly billy and turned my Motorola s5101e off for a night by accident, when I switched it back on I get a different IP and get sent to the Registration page.
Does this mean the good mac I was using has gone or have I bricked the modem?.
Any ideas would be great.

I hope it is just a new mac needed.
Any ideas what happened to the mac i was using ? did it get taken when I left the modem turned off ?.
Only prob is where to get one from, dont know anyone in this town to trade with.
How easy is it to find your own or can you ?

The mac belongs to someone I know but I think they have canceled their internet, will that have been the prob? or has someone else took it when I left the modem off all night?

Just found out that they have canceled his account and gone with some other isp.
looks like I goto find a new mac, is it easy to find your own like it says in the instructions? or am I dammed for the rest of my life,lol

if u need a fresh MAC, Just change the last 2 digits.. to just say it was A4, change it to C6 or what eva.. Give it ago, it is only usually the last 2 digits that are changed when you get a NEW MAC ADDY!!!

hi everyone new to the forum i believe ive run into the same problem switched my modem off and in the mornig straight to vm page asking for post code, modem says connected but cant surf! can anyone please help me, never done a modem before i think its an ambit 250 blue one says ntl on the front. any help much appriciated, what software do i need? and how do i update the mac?
