unable to contact mash,but it is frustrating trying to work out why the box aint performing,as i say is it a tuner fault ,does anybody know if the commtel booster will help in anyway for a signal prob

If it's under warranty ask for a replacement. I sounds as if you have been unlucky with your purchase. I have never had a moments worry with my Krytview other than having to flash it.

with march firmware my box was perfect. put the april firmware on it and the signal pixelates.

i have replaced the coax with cable that has pre-terminated ends. this didnt solve the problem.

i have not purchased a signal booster to see fi this solves it.

all the while the sub box works fine off the 2 way splitter !!

after a couple of weeks and my mate at pace,box sorted tuner f plug was faulty replaced and working fine

try putting ur coax into the output socket this acts as a attenuator u may be getting too strong of a signal instead of a weak one it happens to me all the time

when i bought my kryptview in march the signal strength was great. then the april firmware came out and it was necessary to change the firmware.

since april firmware was installed the signal strength dropped to 52.

i have bought a signal booster and this only got it up to 62.

its still pixelating, and its very infuriating. talking to people it sounds like i bought the wrong box

well, the new firmware is suppose to be out shortly, so lets see if that makes any difference

There is nothing wrong with the box i guess its just firmware problem (April 04/04). Hope new firmware come out with the fix. Most of the people seems to having same problem.
