hi everyone had this box for a while around the house lol never done anything with it lol so thought i might ask for some help in sorting the old bag out lol or get someone to do it for me

the problem with the box i it boots up and on screen get a SPORTSTER SCREEN for a sec or two then it turns its self off any help appresiated or can someone fix it in east midlands pm me please if you can thank you

tried ifa m8 but nothing happends or i m dumm and cant use the thing lol

wot do u mean? did ur box show the sportster logo in the lcd when using ifa? if so it didn't connect to ur pc.....using a router? or xover patch cable direct?. did u see 'flashing' on the lcd?

it just shows sportster logo on screen and then it goes into stanby its self m8

so if ya box goes into stand by a lot... that means u may have a corrupt image? the reason y i ask is a friend of mine , his box goes into standby every so often. could it be because of a bad image because he can still watch tv.

right tried every 2x image there is old and new put my services.xml files in var/tux/zappit and then did a scan what ever i try i only get 43 channels and thats all can anyone help on this please as i m ready to throw the thing out its been a few days now messing about with the damn thing every night after work

if you have put a working services file in zapit no need for scan
just reboot and try the chnls
? have you set your location then checked in scan menu that settings are
for the area your in
