Thank you very much for replying, we have had our Jaeger motor for around 7 to 8 years, with a channelmaster 1m dish. Technomate DAPCI 5000.
We have just bought a Techno 6900, and at present they are loooped together and we have bought a Technomate V box which have not been able to set up yet. We are having difficulty in finding outer sats, ie we get Hotbird,Eutelsat, two Astras and Sirius. We have tried everything ie moving the two little cams, and the e to w in the old box, but no Thor, etc, We cannot fathom out how to make the e to w wider to take these in, the motor is working OK and the dish is as solid as a rock on a ground stand which we bolted into concrete, wind is howling today, but still perfect pics. We have the Jaeger instructions which we cannot understand, and are having difficulty finding someone with knowledge in North Wales area to do it for us. Best regards, oldie's (Mr and Mrs!) |

Just to clarify, are you saying that the motor is refusing to actually move past 5E or 28E?
On the Diseqc motors, there are programmable end stops to prevent the dish hitting an obstruction. Have the end-stops been set too close in on your motor? Robbo ![]() |

The 2 little white cams are the limit switches.
What you need to do is keep moving the dish west for example, if it stops(oval wheel pressing the switch in) slacken the screw on the limit switch`s, then move the plastick wheel off the limit switch. Not too much as the dish could turn too far and bumb into an obstruction. Then do the same for east, but adjust the other wheel, carefull not to move the west limit you just set. ![]() Good idea is to take the cover off the motor and get the mrs to move the dish as your watching. A mobile or walkie talkies are handy here ![]()
