I have the Starview 2 and Eurovox Max so have a reasonable overview of the manufacturer, I have to admit my Eurovox has been A1 for over 2 years with great reception and along with great people on sites like this you won't go wrong, hope this helps a little but their will be good and bad for both boxes

Like yakimoomoo, I have both these boxes, The box Super (starview 3)is a great one, no need to put channels in order as this is Automatically done, Picture and sound is good, The Eurovox max V, you have to put your channels in order of your choice, but once you have spent time doing this, it too is a great box, picture and sound superb, overall, My opinion only, I would put the Eurovox max V ahead..

Hi satsmo, got a bit hot headed, said a few things out of order, stupid of me i know (now), but it was like being gang whipped, as i started a post asking Blah blah blah, what certain members were replying just got the better of me, but 30 days first offence, hung quartered and drawn, guilty before trial..lol.... too many members passing comments or as i normaly say..jumping on the band wagon with negative and some personal comments...never got a fair deal there in the end....just lost the place m8

The problem with the Eurovox is that it can't fit the full channel name in.
There are about 12 channels that you have to rename.
This is OK but when channels move and you rescan it gets rather cumbersome to keep doing this all the time.
The starview does not have this problem as all the channels are in the right order and go back the same on a rescan.
I have a starview 3 on a 42" plasma and a eurovox on a 21" 4:9.
I have no problems with either picture but the starview is really easy to set up and maintain and the eurovox is a bit of a pain.
dont bother with the Kryptview though until the s/w problems are rectified I have had one for 7 months now and when one problem is fixed another one comes along.
The epg are both great on the starview and eurovox and possibly the picture is slightly better on the eurovox.

The channel name is not a big deal is it? And setting up a Eurovox is as easy as a Starview.

In all opinions given by anyone the OP should simply decide on three factors, ease of use, reliability and how much money they have in their pocket. If its a purely down to just wanting to watch TV then any non linux softcam box will do, if you are an enthusiast, the list can go on and on.
