hi i have read conflicting things about this especially with the paces i am led to belives that the single card paces were bought out to stop the overheating issues the doublecard slot one has. though my single card one has the symptoms more so of overheating ,sometimes my double has done similar but been pretty much fine! , and if u turn either of these stbs off over night sometimes there a bitch to get bak on, if u dont know how! the reason why some people say leave em on /standby, but same probs with stndby , in morning u turn it on sticks on tune , or some err, seems every time the red jumper is needed, but one of these days they aint gonna come back on,
so should i really be leaving them on with channels on display or not! any1 got any ideas??????? i always have plenty of ventilation around boxes, eng' man' recomends min of 50mm[5cm].. also can the heat inside the receiver get so hot after a couple of days constant, that the solder points for atmals can soften slightly and leg maybe lift[ when they have already been re flowed]???????????/ i ask this cus as in a post ina diff thread i mentioned after i had pressed down carefully on the atmal legs to contact points with a small screwdriver, it then worked , but had to leave 4 20 mins on tune b4 it booted it was more like 5/6 b4 this!! which ever got it working again i dont know because if ought happens go through a small check list each time not trying 1 thing at a time then repowereing, and i aint had 1 yet that aint come bak eventually as reddeisel said to me once its patience thats needed sometimes>
