Hi,
I have just join this forum so hi to everyone... I am thinking of moving over to the satelite dish from you know what lol. Can i contect say 2 or three TM3500s which will be in different rooms from one dish? I have read alot and think with care i could do it.. Just another thought once i have it all setup what are channels generaly like for quality and content? Also i have a big tree (the tree is bigger than my house lol) pretty much where the dish would need to be facing if south, is this going to cause a big issue or can it be over come? Thanks guy and girls Nikko Last edited by Nikko; 28-05-08 at 06:36 PM. Reason: addition info |

welcome,
You can fit a quad LNb to your dish which will give you 4 independent outputs of which can be connected to your receivers (fixed dish). Re the tree, this depends on what satellite you require and weather it's in line of sight of it ![]() |

It depends how high the tree is compared to the house and how far away it is, and your location.
The main satellites you would want are 1W,13E,19.2E and 28.2E. If you look these up on www.dispointer.com it will tell you the required elevation angle and how far round each one is, from your location. I think there is an obstruction 'thingy' on there as well, though I have not used it. Up to 8 receivers can be connected to one LNB (An Octo). Robbo ![]() |
