Default sb5100 repair

hi i think i may have bricked my sb5100 after flashing it when i connect power cable i get most of the green lights on and both orange ones and i cant do anything with it.can i repair it and how?getting really frustrated now with it

im not really a sb person, have you flashed these before?

Can you connect with configurator?

Does it use sigma or Infinite.

try going to http://192.168.100.1:1337 for sigma.

no it says error blackcat cable not connected and no flash detected even when i connect cable to serial

Maybe a bad flash then, cant you reflash it?

Hi. to repair a bad flash you'd need to JTAG the modem using a blackcat cable AKA poor man's jtag.

This allows the modems software to be re-written without the need for the serial interface, which is implemented in software and therefore doesn't work after a bad flash.

This is described in the haynes guide.
