Post Using a working MAC address

Hello,
I have recently purchased a flashed surfboard 4200, loaded with fibercoax. I just need to enter the MAC address. I have 2 questions:
1- Can I use the MAC, which is registered in london borough of redbridge @ ambit255, and I am in london borough of Newham (about 6 miles from redbridge)?
2- Working ambit 255 is subscribed to get 2mb speed, if I change my surfboard's speed to 20mb, will there be any problem?
Please help

Yes and Yes.

6 miles is good, and if the firmware allows you to force config then yes you can just change the config to 20 meg.
