Will a C&W ditv 1000 work in a TW area.

it just says DITV 1000 on the bottom of the box

you can try it seeing as were all running on the same platform you never know

You can check your model by going into the eng menu and looking at pg 2. (Unplug power lead on hold two button in the middle (up and down together) untill you see a blue screen and go to page 2 using the right button) - Make sure your cble feed is not pluged in

Your model should be displyed under "Hardware Version"

This will give you a clear indication if its 1b or 1a

If you get it updated to the latest virgin software it may work-I have an old 4000 from C&W which works fine but had to be updated in Ex C&W area 1st-heard this is the same with 2000's. Give it a go-nowt to lose

I have got the box working ,changed the net id using libby,it took an update and started working,but now every 2mins the tv goes off and it says on the screen
"your set top box is being updated this may take a fewq mins,then the tv comes back on for 2mins and then it does the same again.Anybody got any ideas

HI guys sorry for the delay.
the C & W ditv 1000 is now up and running in my TW area so we can add these boxes to the list.The problem was i had taken the simm out to put in my led simm to get BK,and i hadnt located it properly when i put it back in.
this box is now running with NTL rom10 card and working with NTL remote.
