how do i put channels in order - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

hi there folks, can any one help? on the dbox all the channels are all over the place , can any one tell me how to put channels into order .. ie sports .. movies .. music etc...

find a cdf bouquets file fore your area and ftp it to the dbox, restart the box and bingo

There are few ways to do so, one of them is as m_forit has mentioned. Another is to get a Bouquet editor to sort the channels on your PC and then FTP The xml file across to your DBOX.

To do it without either of the above is to manually create new Bouqets on your DBOX via the Remote Control and then add channels into them - though this can be time consuming. To do so Press the DBOX button on the remote, navigate to services>Bouquet editor and then press Red to create a new Bouqeet, label it i.e sports, movies, etc, and then add channels into it. Once you have added them in, you can move them up and down in the order. The same can be done for the different bouquets, so you can have movies before sports, or music, etc, etc.

wot img u using there may be one in yweb with your pc and box connected just type in ur box ip addy into IE adress bar ie http:/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx go into settings

using laky pro img. got most of channels .... and their in order ... only prob i got now is sultanta1 not working ... channel not available... prob would be good to get a bouquet file from t/west lanarkshire area ... ??

any ideas
