Default Fortec Star Zeta help needed

Bought a faulty one of these on Monday at a car boot for 3 quid was stuck in a boot loop but seems to have cleared itself. Now I am getting "searching signal" on the screen. I assume as there are 2 sats stored on the machine that I need to get into the diseqc settings or something. Now to the problem. I don't have a remote for it and the settings page is asking for a password which I can't enter without a remote. I have a one for all but can't find any codes for fortec star machines apart from 4 digit ones. Is there anyway to do a factory reset or get into the settings without a remote?

Default Re: Fortec Star Zeta help needed

Been in touch with FortecStar and got a very very short email back from them about 5 mins after I sent it. "You can't do anything without the remote control" Very helpful indeed NOT. Emailed All for One and they got back to me after about 4 hours saying they do not have a code for that particular model and could I send my original remote to them so they can read the signals from the remote and give me a code. Bit pointless really because if I had a remote I wouldn't need the bloody one for all would I. Don't fancy spending £15 on a replacement remote just in case the Zeta is actually knackered.

Just had another look at this machine and the card slots are actually blocked off so there is nowhere to insert any cards. Got it with an 80 gig hard drive in and working but can't test it without a bloody remote control. There is also a Cam slot. Very strange box really as if its a cut down version.
