Hi all i am new to all this and looking for some advice, Just recently got 2 new boxes and looking for some info on how to upload the channels etc, been to tcb.cc and downloaded and tried what it said on there but still getting nothing on my box when i scan it on tv with EMU on etc is there something i am not doing???? thanks in advance.

have you uploaded the latest firmware? You may have the FTA firmware on it

The Box Super, make sure you load it with GTRom 7.05e 10.04.08

right i have managed to get my sv3 flashed...the prob was with the usb rs232 i was using.
now that its flashed though when i goto to set up the box it wont let me go into the parental setup menu to turn emu on...any ideas?

Loading software to The Box Super

Plug the RS232 Null Modem lead into the back of the box and to your PC.

Plug the box into the mains and turn it on. It should display ON, on the display

Double click the red arrow (GTRom_Super_7.05e) which is the loading software
Now click The DOWNLOAD button
Wait for it to finish downloading and to say Download Complete!!

hi thanks for that i have done wht it says but when i put the boxes on to the tv and scan all i get is failed, i have switched the EMU on etc but still no joy.

when scaning for channels u must make sure u choose right provider for your area ,then exit out ,then press menu on remote and as soon as u get menu up press numbers 1570 this will then display hidden menu where u can select EMU

JB see when i open the gtrom is it just astraight find the port that it works from then hit down load with the wee dot in App File box???? or should there be anything in the bin file line. Sorry for being a pain lol.

once you have opened the GTRom then just press download, the file is in the loader so you don't have to do any thing else..once it says complete then give it an extra 20 seconds just to make sure its completed
