Default connection from CC to home

iim assuming CC means cable company lol seen it used around duno wat it meant for sure.

anyway..............

if the little white box inside my housee where the cable from the outside connects to is broken (dnt ask howw lol) can i still usee the cable from the outside directly to my starview


herees a little drawing lol



noww if that white box (shown as green) is broken can i use the "LINE FORM OUTSIDE" directly into my eurovox????
or does the white box convert the signal or something?

The white box is an isolator and although your box should work without it, its not advisable to do so as the isolator protects your equipment from network surges which can damage your box. It also stops power surges back from your box onto their network which can also cause problems. I would suggest getting another isolator by asking an installer for 1 for a couple of quid.

Get a new isolator, i got on from ebay last week to put in another room!
