Default bricked?

hi guys,

i started my box (ev2) this morning and all im getting is 0000 on the display and a green bar going across the screen.... remote control or box buttons dont work either....

is this what you called bricked? if so how did this happen?.. i have never flashed it and how can i get it back up and running.

some times you get a surge that knocks the boxes off, have you tried flashing the box again, is your box genuine Eurovox 2, is it a blue box or red box version??

RED OR BLUE BOX
If you look at the top of your box to the right of the vents you can just see the tuner inside the box, count down and if the tuner reaches 8 vents then it’s a RED box 2007, if it goes past 8 and reaches 12 vents then it’s a BLUE box 2006,..Check this site out first, tells you what you need to know about clone blue box, not sure about red but i will check it out

Checkthe green capacitor C14 on the power supply,see if the top is swollen compared to others(it normally is),this causes a lot of problems on the Eurovox and may be your fault.
Replace it with 1000uf 16v 105 degree and please observe polarity(white line goes to the mark on the board) easier to remember which way it comes out.

its back up and running...just needed a flash.

i think that capacitor thing is when you dont have any power etc...
