Need some help with up dating my ntl box. I have just go my infinity usb phoenix but I do not know what to do next??

Its' all new to me so if anyone could help me in talkng me though it, that would geart.

My card went down 3 weeks ago and I can only get a basic channels

u need to read m8 its all in there, what card is it? do u have the IRD and BK code?
read novice angel guide.
IRD is 8 digit number
BK code is 16 digit number

What type of card does it come with funcard, atmega etc.

it's a ntl smart card??? and all cards seem the same to me??? like I said I know nothing about doing this, and I am dislixic I can't read very well sorry??

Could you send a link for this or let me know what m8 means. i have a ntl smart card in at the moment. will the info be on my card??

look in the d/loads section for nagra edit 4.1

M8 if the card is unlocked then you need nagra 4.1 to read the card but the best advice was given earlier and that was to get hold of Novice Angels Guide as it has a section on MOSC (Modified Original Smart Card) cards which yours is. It also has lots of pictures and this should help with your dyslexia. Just go to the sction in the guide that covers MOSC and follow that. Have a good read and then if you are still stuck post back

I'm in the same boat as this new user - I had all the channels but one day they were gone - I have a fun card but don't have or know how to get the bk code and the RD code - any help?

what box do u have, depending on the box u can get bk & ird some use led simm or jtag, if the funcard is paired then u can read the bk & ird of that u will need a programmer to do that.
