Default New to Virgin Media

Hi everyone, this is my first post on the forum! I have just entered into a contract with Virgin Media and after talking to a few people and checking a few forums i can see you can lengthen your list of channels yourself. I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for this, I have a new Samsung STB, can this box be modified in any way, or do i look towards modifying the Viewing Card, or am i looking in the complete wrong direction and need a new box?

Thanks,
garygriz

Yeah that is the one ive got. Im looking to receive further channels on another STB, i was just wondering what is the best box to buy? Im looking at an unflashed Eurovox Max 2008, is this a wise choice?

Just on that note of choice of boxes, I also have the 2110c which the good lads at Virgin have switched off due to a disagreement we both had. Anyway I assume this now disconnected box is wise to avoid modding? Basically what I want is to mod a box that also offers the On Demand service that Virgin offers and I know not a lot of the boxes do this. Can anyone help me with this?
