hi all,

can any one help me with sniffing, iv tried putting my mac address off the modem but it says im not entering a valid mac address? thanks

1-- are you using the 120 ones ??????
2--sure you put macs in right ie 8 digs on first and last 4 on second
3-- wot you using ???? to do it

re when you use sniffer prog are you getting any 120 macs ?????

right are you using a router of any kind ??????? if so dont use it when you sniff then it will work sweet

any expert out there? i need help can i use my ambit 250 with infinite software to scan for macs with cable feed in ? the modem is not assigned to a mac yet and i dont have any friends that have cable modem can i use this sniffer program to find macs i herd there is a new program that allows the modem to search for macs outside the UBR i am living in!

wot you are looking for is the dw snifer m80
but you will need a working mac for the modem to get on line in the first place
