Try completely turning off your cordless phone to see if that improves it.

If that's a possible cause, others are video senders and WiFi setups, both host/transmitter and client/receiver, even nearby neighbours (and of course their cordless phone systems).
Were any away from home during the recent two-day clear period ?

Could it be a footprint issue (there would likely be other frequencies affected, maybe some you never watch due to subject matter/language/encryption).
Don't forget a motorised system can only home in east/west, not up/down, although I certainly wouldn't suggest adjusting the elevation of a well setup system until the other possibilities have been eliminated.

Yes, the problem is that you are only adjusting the position of the dish around the arc by doing that. If the dish elevation is wrong it won't affect it for any particular satellite.

I would suggest that you adjust the motor position to get the maxim signal on a nearby transponder, then try adjusting the dish elevation to see if you can get a signal on the one that you are missing. If you carefully scratch a mark on the back of the dish, you would be able to go back to the original position if necessary. If adjusting the elevation improves it, your arc is out and needs fixing.
