using dreambox 500c to record tv

yes i am connecting the dreambox directly to my pc.
i have now unchecked the DHCP on the dreambox settings page.
the firewall is disabled.
and yes the setting on the:-

dreambox ip is 192.168.0.100
PC ip address is 192.168.0.105

but your next paragraph is very confusing!....u said.....

"If the IPs are not 100 and 105 then change them to the correct values"
but they are because i just told u they were!.... or r u refering to something else?
also u said "use the PC IP as the gateway IP address"....do u mean use the 192.168.0.105(which is on the pc) and make the dreambox's gateway ip the same as this i.e 192.168.0.105?
pls can u be alittle bit clearer whether u r taking about the dreambox or the pc in certain places in your reply. sorry to quote you, its just that its getting abit confusing. better still if u could just give the full settings parameters of what the dreambox and the pc settings should be; as i have done in my previous message, that would really help, stating (most importantly) whether its on the pc or the dreambox. if u could also structure your reply as in my previos message it would really help me out alot. many thanks will wait for your reply.
