Default Gemini and cccam help DM500s

I have been installing cccam from a tar.gz file and ftping it to the tmp folder and then doing a manual install via the blue panel due to internet networking problems.
I have also unzipped cccaminfo and FTP'ed the various files in the zip file to the folders of the same name on the DB i.e nabident.inf to var/etc folder, and changed permissions to 755.
However when I run cccaminfo It says it cannot find cccam even though it is enabled on th DB.
Am I doing something wrong?
The reason I am trying to do this is that I am having problems decoding channel 4/5 and sky 3 using a Sky FTV card. I know the card is activated as it works in a digibox. This makes me think that cccam is possibly not installed correctly.
I have tried various versions of Gemini and cccam but still only get a black screen on these channels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Damon

Default Re: Gemini and cccam help DM500s

I have deleted your link to the other emus forum.

Have you installed the correct tar.gz file for your image? You appear to be using a mixture of files. If it is a Gemini image then you need the emu bin file in var/bin, the .sh file in var/script and the cccam.cfg file in var/keys

These are the files needed by CCcam:

What Softcam.Key should CCcam try to read ?
Defaults to /var/keys/SoftCam.Key

What AutoRoll.Key should CCcam try to read ?
Defaults to /var/keys/AutoRoll.Key

What constant.cw should CCcam try to read
Defaults to /var/keys/constant.cw

Next we have the default paths for your provider and channel information, these are not essential but provide you with some very useful information.

Provider Information:
In this file all provider idents are defined
The info from this file is being used in the web interface and other tools and plugins you may use.

What provider information should CCcam read ?
Defaults to /var/etc/CCcam.providers

Channel identity:
In this file all channel idents are defined
The info from this file is being used in the web interface and other tools and plugins you may use.

What channel information should CCcam read ?
Defaults to /var/etc/CCcam.channelinfo

Lastly you have to have your CCcam configuration file.

YOU MUST MAKE A BACK UP THIS FILE IF YOU DO NOTHING ELSE DO THIS

In this file is all your sharing information and the emu configuration, unless you understand what you are doing do not make changes to this file!!!

What configuration should CCcam read ?
Defaults to /var/etc/CCcam.cfg

In addition to these CCcam specific files, each image has a different means of starting the emu.
