Hi Guys
I know how to find the TFTP IP of someone who has a subbed modem with VM. here is what I do: 1) Read the MAC address of the currently working subbed modem 2) start DHCP Force 3) Type in his MAC address and go to file discover 4) Bing it tells it you straight away I've tried to do this in my friend's house > who does not have a subbed modem. Therefore I tried it with a flashed modem. But I don't get the right TFTP IP Infact when I brought that flashed modem back home and tried it on my line feed, it still gave me the same TFTP IP as it did in my friend's house. this would prove that the TFTP IP is wrong right ???? cause from what I understand two cable feeds in two different areas of one town can't have the same TFTP IP !! So how can I find the TFTP IP of someone who is not currently on broadband with VM Please somebody help ! thanks

you are getting confused a little bit, the TFTP will be the same m8, to make really sure just scan DHCP Force from his house, but beleive me it will be the same, only macs or ubr will be diffrent

Hi 666,
Iam hoping you can help me. I bought a Motorola SB5101E flashed modem from ebay. I have run the DHCP sniff for mac address's some have config files some dnt all the Tftp IP are the same. Firstly can you tell me what determines the speed of your connection is it the mac address or the config file & can you use the same config file for different mac address's? What part of the mac address tells you the urb & what does URB stand for? Does the settings for the ADMIN STATUS & MAX DL TIES MATTER? I have them currently set at ADMIN STATUS AT: 2 & MAX DL TIES AT:0 THANKS |

Firstly can you tell me what determines the speed of your connection is it the mac address or the config file & can you use the same config file for different mac address's? a mac will determine what speed you can download, but we can force a 1 meg or any meg to download at 20 meg with a config file
What part of the mac address tells you the urb & what does URB stand for? no idea, but you only wont to no your ubr, so you can get a diffrent mac form a diffrent ubr.. http://ubr.freehostia.com/ Does the settings for the ADMIN STATUS & MAX DL TIES MATTER? I have them currently set at ADMIN STATUS AT: 2 & MAX DL TIES AT:0 again soz no idea THANKS
