There are 3 LAN drivers in the list, Local Area Network, which might solve the problem.
Did you follow the advice in the Knowledge Base to manually install the drivers? The internet problem might not be related to the faulty driver, it could just be a case of manually setting up the connection to your router. What make/model router are you using? Which ISP are you using? Did you get all the updates for XP? Does your XP disk have service pack 2 pre-installed? |

Are you in a university, or elsewhere that has communal broadband?
Did you check Windows update manually to see if they have located a driver? Try installing the driver manually using any discs you have. Go into Device Manager, right click on the listing with the yellow exclamation mark and click on update driver. Don't let Windows install the software automatically click to do it manually. Click no to connecting to the internet and in the options choose your CD/Dvd drive and let it search the disc you have installed. If it doesn't find it click back and try a different disc. |

The quickest way to resolve the problem is to contact Toshiba.
Go to Toshibas Support Home Page and in the bottom right hand corner you will see a Communicate heading, click on Toshiba Contact Information and you will get telephone numbers and web addresses for toshiba technical support. |
