eurobird1 28.2e
sirius 5.0e (is this normal?)

Thanks in advance for any help/advice
Errm, Since you only have one dish, non-motorised with a single LNB on it, you can only get one satellite. You can scan them all you like, but you still won't receive from them

The confusion arises because many of the transponders details are shared accross many satellites. So all you are in fact doing is re-scanning 28E, and that is why all the scrambled channels are coming up as NDS, as that is the only encyprion method used on 28E.

PLonk some more LNBs on the dish, or motorise it and you're in business.

Many thanks for your post number 6 Kerrywez. It was very helpful.
As there are more and more people buying the HD box, is there any chance that you could produce a guide to selecting non freesat mode and finding and selecting other satellites. I have now found that 1 degree of dish movement needs 8 steps of positioning but every time I get to a satellite, do a "save current position" and then go back to the screen where you can do a search, the screen says it is on 28.2. How do you get to do a search on another sat. and then save it?
Any info on this and selecting other goodies with coloured button sequences would be a help to me and< i suspect, to many other newbies!
Thanks in advance

Mikado.

PS if this has been covered elsewhere pleas could you direct me to it as I cant find much info about this box.
Why haven't Humax produced a supplementary handbook I wonder.

You will find some information(with screenshots),which may be helpful here.
However there's little information regarding a motorised setup,as my motor is still sitting in its box
