sniffing with an ambit 250 - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

i have a hacked ambit 250, i have DHCP and have found a number of macs
however there is nothing in configfile name or time server ip in any of them.
can anyone guide me through what i have to do next.
i have also tried DHCP sniffer with no joy

It Wont work through a Router mate remove it if you have one
Then Sniff
You may be in an Encrypted Area mate ...........Paul

i dont have a router attached at the moment.
if i am in a Encrypted Area what are my options?
