Smile tsop removal / willem 4.5

It took me my second attempt using a £4.99 30watt soldering iron with standard smallish coned tip[not coppper old style] that comes with iron.. 0.8mm solder and 2mm solder wick, and flux which was the key! just follow tscinco's? tsop removal vid..i used this vid as a guide n others, and on my second go it was perfect, using old 120's as practice boards! [ 2 of em] now got it to a tea n only going togetbetter!
ive got a willem on order now i know how easy it really is! [im fairly good with an iron though]though admttadly it would be simpler with a hot air gun thingy..but more expense - this is really a luxury, n id rather spend what i have on willem initially! are these easy to use?? could some1 be so kind as to point me in the right direction of where to get the 3 bootloader files or just the 1 for 250/255's [nthell] plz! which 1 do i need for which chip. whats the best prob to use with the willem ive read version9.7g is best cause of compatability issues with others n some chips- is this right!

thanx in advance....

I've been watching the vids and threads about this and think it's within my capability to have a go at this. I remember doing these sort of things with an air gun back in the old days in another job. An airgun would be cool but they are a luxury. I think I can handle the iron and wick.

All I'm a bit confused about is the programmer and which one to get. There's plenty on fleabay and various adapters.

Which Welliem programmer are you using? 4.5C?

Do you need to get the Adapter for it? To which you solder the ic to and pop into the zip socket before programming? Fancy pointing me to a link or info for the correct programmer and adapter?
