eurovox max v trying to sort channels in order

hi,

just upgraded from 2006 eurovox to a eurovox max v 2008 got all the channels and there in the favourites but i want to arrange the channels so that 1 is bbc 1 2 is bbc 2 3 is itv and so on, on the 2006 version it was easy to do but on the 2008 version i just can't work out how to do it so any advice would be helpful.

i read somewhere that you have to download something else to sort the channels is this right , i thought i was upgrading not going backwards

you have to do it through your pc
upload via the programme organise and then download
or download cdf from your area

CDF Files for the Eurovox

you can try in there for your area if its not in there then use your loader, theres TUT somewhere but its easy to do, you download your list thats not in order and open it using a great program called voxer and that will let you edit your list. if u pm me i can send you voxer if u need it. hope this helps.

You can manually sort your Favs on your box if you prefer.

Go into Favourite Manager (pin 1004), press FAV to go to the list you want to change and (not I'm not at my box but so the button colours may be wrong here but the naming is not) red button (Sort Option). Now highlight the channel you want to move and press yellow button (Manual), now highlight where you wish to move it to and press yellow button again (you're basically doing a Cut and Paste).

You can also use the uptodate firmware for your box (UFL date 18/4/08). Connect your box to your pc and under the Channel Data section hit Upload (this will create the CDF file on your pc from the info on the box). Now press Edit / CH List, tick the box 'Favourite Mode' and now you can drag and drop the channels into the order you want. Hit the Apply button and exit from the Channel Edit. Now back at the UFL screen, under the Channel Data section you simply press the Download button to copy your CDF back onto your box

does anybody know where i can get voxer from so i can sort my channels out?

i have done that but i have never had them sorted properly and would like to and get rid of the channels that are not used

You can use the UFL to sort your channels.

Simply connect the box to your pc, upload and save the channel file (under Channel Data). Click on the Edit button to alter the file, amend it, save it and download it back to your box.

im sorted now thanks i found voxer and am sorting them now
