Anybody Running IFA sucsessfully on Vista
Dont reply if your mate is
Wot ifa you useing
Cant get any of them to run on me new Vista Lappy
Firewalls all off
Wireles Network OFF
Hope someone Has this working ........paul

Going to try this tomorrow mate (going to try another image as my sagem isnt keen on some of them ive used already), just got a usb - null adapter for my laptop (running vista). Will let you know how i get on.

I got it workin mate but let me tell you one thing its a f*kin pain to get working i think its more luck than anything lol im using 1.5.6 mi sure I have tried other versions but this is the only one i managed to flash one dbox

Im currently trying it again with no luck I dont know wtf is going on TBH mate

Yeah like I said the amount of times I turned the dbox on then off is unreal not sure how to get it fixed unfortunately

Got hallenberg ifa latest version (3.1.1) working.

Turned off firewall then went through the usual tcp/ip on local area connection (i had two of these on mine but used the V4 one), disabled wireless network, enabled local area connection, did the ip address stuff, then flashed image using IFA.

Worked straight away. Using the usb-serial adapter it gave me a choice of 2 com ports (selected com17).
