Default TM6900 Record and Playback Simu?

Hi All

I have just got my TM6900HD recording awesome quality HDTV onto a 120GB SATA drive (via an USB2 ICYBOX).

Can the unit record and playback a seprerate channel at the same time?

I have tested its abaility to record a channel and playback an existing recording at the same time?

TIA for the help.

If you mean, can you record one channel whilst watching another?

Then theoretically you should be able to do it if one of them is from the terrestrial feed, the same goes for two satellite channels if they are on the same band and polarity, but if not then No.

That clarifies it a bit better.

Can't help you further though mate as I don't have the receiver, hopefully someone who has, will be able to.

Try two channels on the same transponder.

You cannot record one channel and watch another at the same time as the receiver only has one tuner, you would have to have two tuners to do this, also you cannot record off satellite and watch terrestrial

Well, thats clarified it even more then

I surprised you ca'nt do terrestrial and satellite at the same time though, since it does have two different type of tuners.
