I have a SA 4000dvb for t/w when I power the box on the standby light comes on then it turns red and does not respond to anything. It just stays stuck in this state, does anybody know what is wrong.

have you taken the u48 or u50 chip off at any time? as a red led constant is a common problem when they are not making a good enourh conection back to the board. try lifting the lid and just running a soldering iron down each of the legs on u48 and u50 they are located at the front of the box just behind the display (there are 4 in a row) hope that fixes it for you
