hi,
Is there any way to flash ambit 255 black, without removing the TSOP.
Any help appreciated

i just used the max232 on one i had, they're not all updated by vm
just most of them

how would I know that the modems have been updated by vm?

when you connect it using a max232 cable and hyper terminal, if it gives you the option to press '1' '2' or 'p' and when you press p within 2 seconds of power on it should give you a menu.

if it does, its not been updated and can be flashed with infinite firmware

If you dont get the option to press p then it has been updated and will need reprogramming
