4001 engineer menu problems

hello,just wondering if anyone can help me with my pace 4001,i had to reflow the attys to get it working again but the problem is i cant set the pin number or frequency because as soon as i boot to engineers menu it jumps straight back of and goes to tune for 10mins and the boots up to channels.when i pull the jumper it sits on tune for a while and as im in a pure area it sets its net-id okay.

Have you tried to get into eng menu without cable feed connected to try?
