Hi i have got a max232 and an rs232 com port cable...can i flash a black 250 virgin media modem? or if i cant and i need a purple NTL one can someone sell me one that`ll work?

Hi, i'm new to this site also the answer to your question is "Yes" but..
only if it has not been connected for some time & not taken the new
update that blocks you from getting access to do as your asking.

btw if its the black model with the VM stamp it's a 255 the 250s are
as you say a purple or blue colour. hope i've been of help to you.
