Cassegrain Satellite Dish - Help needed replacing LNB

Hello All

Perhaps someone who has a small 'cassegrain' dish can help

I need to replace the LNB mounted behind the dish - it been full of water & is burgggered.

This dish, (I think) is an old version of the ACRON Multi - 57cm.

The LNB is very well fixed to the feed tube that comes thru the centre on the dish to the second reflector.
I've had the feed tube in a vice & still can't rotate the LNB - even with a Manchester screwdriver...

So, I'm guessing it's not a screw fit --- It's getting pretty frustrating

Hi there,

I've had a multimo camping cassegrain dish in which the lnb was not screwed, thus non-replaceable. There were later versions with a "standard" C120 inverto lnb that you could unscrew.

From the pictures I've seen of the arcon ones (smaller model and bigger one) IIRC there was the same situation. If you can post a picture here of the lnb I'm sure we'll be able to tell you if you can get it off - or if you're not meant to.
