Default Help. Starview not coming on

I have a problem with one of my boxes not working. When i turn the power on it powers up ok, but all it says on the front display is 'on' and dosent jump to the channels when normaly it would. When i press the standby button on the remote it puts the time in the front display, when i press it again it goes back to 'on' but no chanels come on or no chanel numbers in the display.

Iv had the box for about 14 months. I dont think it is a clone however im not to sure. Anyone seen this before or can help?

I presume it is a Starview 1, have you tried just turning it off from the back switch and then back on. See what that does and then you can decide if it needs a reflash after this.

I have tried switching it of at the back, then on again but it just does the same. I will get the box and try re flashing it.

If reflash does not help. Check the C11 capacitor on the PSU board.
