Nokia Dbox 2 Help

Hi,
I have a Nokia Dbox2 , I can't see anything on the lcd, it's barely lit up, no picture comes on the tv screen either.
I have a null moded cable but have no idea how to get it up and running, have tried the dbox2 flash assisant but as I can't read the lcd I have no idea what's going on.
Any advice appreciated.

hi m8.u need a crossover cable along with a null modem cable and a portable tv(so u can see wots happening on the screen while it flashes)

If your using a Null mowdem
You will be able to moniter the Progress on the Pc screen ......Paul

How do I go about doing it?
I downloaded Dbox2 flashing assistent, a few images but can't seem to get it working correctly, The laptop recognises the ethernet link between the laptop and dbox, no idea if the null modem connection is ok, tried a few images but no luck so far, maybe I'm not doing it right..

first of all do u know if u got the 1 chip or the 2 in your box?u can do this by openin up ur box 2 check the chips.then dl chatterbox.cc(if u aint got it already)go 2 files & fixes/cable files/set top box files/dbox/dbox2/complete dbox files.this gives u a step by step guide m8.its a bit of a headache cos i went thru all of this testerday myself and where i got stuck was with the crossover cable(ethernet)u either need a router which has a couple of ethernet ports on it or a pc with a couple on it or an ethernet hub which has loads on it.

if u got a connection between the lappy and the dbox don't use ifa use a ftp program like flashfxp.....

post back if u get this working....

Alll you need is a rj45 crossover cable and a copy of ifa
Select your image
Select your network
No null mowdem Tick
SWITCH BOX OF AT WALL AT THIS point
Push ok Switch on boxand it should start Flashing within 1 min
If it dont just switch off at the wall and back on till it does
No need to touch the pc
To find out wot chip your sagem is
If its a Nokia it will deffo be 2 c x chip
Just run FLASHCHECK...................Paul

how do u run flash check?and are sagem boxes flashed the same way as nokia boxes(the same image etc etc)

Down load Flash check
Attatch a crossover cable set you IP s Up
And just Push the Button
It will tell you if the Sagems a 1 x or a 2 x in a crack .......Paul
