Default frozen screen

Hi
Not sure where to post this but think its the cam so here goes.

Left dvd recorder recording satellite channel on Astra, when I have played back its done about ten minutes then froze the screen and put up scrambled channel, tried again but kept an eye on it and its doing it regularly and I have to take out the cam and replace for it to work for maybe another ten minutes. If you sit and flick channels it keeps working for as long as you want, its just when you leave it on one. This is going to be hopeless for recording. Is it the cam or is it yet another fault of the Fortec Passion(or Maplin rip off box as I now have christened it)

If you're using the Diablo Cam try turning the N2 AU OFF, after the channel opens.
Also make sure there is plenty of ventilation around your receiver and if it has a CI cover leave it open.
Does this happen on any other packages/channels or just Premiere?

You might also want to check the manufacturers web site for any updates for your receiver.

You have mentioned the dreaded word "updates".Knowing my previous experience with Fortec downloads I am scared to what tricks my receiver might come up with if I try to alter its already twisted mind.
