Thanks. I am connecting direct from pc to dbox with crossover cable... Downloaded IFA 3.2.1 and just tried that and get message waiting for dbox start but no progress.

When I switch the dbox on just before I click start it lights up with all the numbers the says C:\Windows at the top and loading kernal at the bottom of the screen and after about 10 seconds the screen goes blank.

Any ideas?

you leave the dbox off at the mains supply - firewall off - click start then switch on dbox from the mains

i.p address I am entering into Local Area connection is 192.168.0.201
the default gatewat populates itself to 255.255.255.o (I think)
When I connect to the dbox I get a LAN connection on the toolbar.
